Invertek engages with schools, colleges and universities to encourage an understanding of the career opportunities in the variable frequency drives industry, from innovation to production.

Innovators of the future

Students from Bishop’s Castle Community College, which is located close to Invertek’s headquarters at Welshpool, Powys, UK, visited the facility and were given a tour of the innovation, technical and global production and distribution facilities.

“It’s important to engage with young people for them to understand the range of career opportunities we offer. As a result of such visits we hope some of them will have an aspiration to follow an educational path that will lead to a role with us,” said Julia Gough, Training Manager at Invertek.

Invertek offers a graduate programme and range of career opportunities within its innovation, technical, production and sales and marketing teams.
