Invertek Drives was privileged to have taken part in a celebration marking 50 years of Japanese investment in Wales with the Japanese Ambassador to the UK and First Minister of Wales.

Dr David Jones, one of the founding directors of Invertek, and Takashi Mieda, Business Development Manager at PTC EMEIA (Sumitomo Drive Technologies), representing Invertek and our parent company Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd  attended the event in the presence of The Japanese Ambassador to the UK and the First Minister of Wales

The celebrations took place at Sony UK HQ in South Wales followed by a dinner with the Ambassador and Economic Minister of Wales.

It was also attended by representatives of other Japanese-owned businesses in Wales.
