Invertek Drives is delighted to announce it has been named as a regional winner in the ‘Export Business of the Year’ category in the Chamber of Commerce Awards 2015.

The independently owned company will now go on to battle it out against other regional winners for the national title in an awards ceremony held by the British Chamber at the end of November.

Initially established in 1998, Invertek Drives now boasts over 190 employees worldwide and a turnover that has doubled in the last five years to £23 million.

Export and a clear global sales and marketing strategy have been key to the company’s growth and success - more than 90 per cent of the products made at its Welshpool headquarters are exported to 80 countries worldwide.

Finance Director, Adrian Ellam, collected the winner’s certificate on behalf of the firm, and said: “This award contributes to improving our global profile as a leading UK technology exporter and is an important recognition of our potential for growth in the eyes of our business partners around the World.”
