Invertek Drives is delighted to announce it has been shortlisted as a finalist for ‘Company of the Year’ in the ESTNet Awards 2016.
Now in its fifth year, the ESTNet Awards celebrates the Welsh technology industry, with leading businesses competing in categories such as ‘Industry Role Model of the Year’ and ‘Collaborative Partnership of the Year’.
Having won ‘Export Business of the Year’ and ‘Welsh Company of the Year’ in 2015, the variable frequency drives manufacturer is keen to add another success to its growing number of accolades, awarded in recognition of its continual growth and development over the past 18 years.
Sales and Marketing Director, Rhydian Welson, comments, “Since Invertek was established in 1998 we have grown to become one of the world’s leading manufacturers of variable frequency drives – with more than 90% of our products exported to over 80 countries.”
“To be shortlisted as Company of the Year for the ESTNet awards is a real honour, representative of our contribution to both the Welsh technology sector and the wider economy.”
The independently owned company employs 190 people worldwide, including more than 150 at its Welshpool headquarters, and has doubled its turnover to £22 million in the last five years.
The ESTNet awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday 2nd March 2016 at the Wales Millennium Centre.
