Invertek Drives is delighted to announce that newly appointed Finance Director, Adrian Ellam, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Finance Director of the Year Awards 2014. 

Centred around the Chester, Liverpool city, North Wales & Warrington regions, the annual Finance Director of the Year Awards were created to recognise the UK’s leading talent within the finance sector across nine different categories, and the important role FDs playin ensuring their businesses grow.

Adrian will be pitched against two other finalists in the ‘Best Finance Director for an International Business’ category at the awards ceremony taking place on Wednesday 12th November at the Crowne Plaza in Liverpool.

Adrian comments, “Having worked very hard over the past four years to support Invertek’s international growth and development across 80 countries worldwide, I am delighted that my contribution has been recognised with a place on the Finance Director Awards shortlist.”

Adrian joined Invertek in May 2010 as Finance and IT Systems Controller and has played a key role in managing the complex financial issues involved in financing the company’s extraordinary growth, resulting in his appointment as Finance Director earlier this month.

Founded by Accountable Recruitment Managing Director Simon Massey, and sponsored by a host of high-street names including HSBC, Grant Thornton and Hill Dickinson, the awards are also designed to recognise regional businesses that have made a real difference to the UK economy and to provide an opportunity for industry professionals to network and share their experiences.
