Six employees at Invertek Drives global headquarters, manufacturing and distribution centre in Welshpool, UK, have this month achieved a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

The group, who between them work in manufacturing, technical support and service, undertook the course at Shrewsbury Colleges Group through Staffordshire University.

The achievements are part of Invertek’s ongoing commitment and investment in training and development of its staff, including its Graduate Training Programme.

“It’s important for us to have well trained and qualified personnel in all parts of our business and this is one example of how we invest in that. We’d like to congratulate them on attaining their HNC’s,” said Julia Gough, Training Manager at Invertek Drives.

The six were Claire Webb, James Malkin, James Parry, Vasile Coicheci, Ben Lloyd, Tom Dawes.
