In conjunction with its Italian sales partner SP Electric, Invertek Drives will be launching Invertek Drives Italia with a major presence at SPS IPC Drives Italia 2014 - taking place in Parma from 20th-22nd May.

Invertek Drives Italia has been formed to meet increasing demand for Invertek’s products and services from the Italian market, which saw sales grow significantly last year.

SPS 2014 provides the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the high-performance motor control capabilities of Invertek’s variable speed drives – particularly the company’s newest product, HVAC Eco, the third generation Optidrive HVAC designed specifically for building automation services and multiple pump control.

Invertek Drives Italia will also be showcasing the new, compact size 8 Optidrive P2 and Optidrive HVAC. The latest frame size has been introduced to increase the available power ratings for Invertek's product range beyond the present maximum of 160kW / 250HP and was originally unveiled at SPS 2013 in Nuremburg.

A brand new website, www.invertekdrives.it, is being launched to support strategic sales efforts in Italy; Invertek’s Sales and Marketing Director, Rhydian Welson, explains, “Invertek is committed to achieving major growth in the Italian market over the coming years. The new Italian website contains the entire product and market sector information available on our global invertekdrives.com website, translated and presented according to the needs of the Italian market.

"This is a major marketing development and illustrates the long term commitment we have to this market."

Show organisers are expecting a record number of visitors this year following the success of SPS Italia 2013 which saw a 24% increase in footfall on the previous year.
