Staff from Invertek Drives Ltd were delighted to meet so many customers, current and new, at SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg last week as well as celebrating the milestone of selling our one millionth variable frequency drive.
This was the eighth time we have attended this major event and it was our most ambitious to date, specifically designed to reflect the company’s growing reputation as a leading global player in the industry.
SPS is widely recognised as the leading event in the industry’s calendar - the 2016 event was attended by more than 63,000 professional attendees and 1,601 exhibitors took advantage of the international business platform SPS IPC Drives provides.
The event further solidified its international standing by featuring 523 companies from 44 countries besides Germany.
Invertek’s stand received a huge amount of positive feedback and interest in a wide range of products and services with products on display including the general purpose Optidrive E3, Optidrive P2 high performance AC drive, Optidrive Eco used for fan and pump applications, and the Elevator Optidrive which is used in lifts around the world.
The company’s iKnow experts, who know all about variable frequency drives, were also in demand at the event. You can find out more from them by visiting the dedicated section on our website.
Sales and Marketing Director, Rhydian Welson, explains: “SPS plays a vital role in our marketing activities as it attracts visitors in the automation industry from around the world.
“The event provides an ideal opportunity for us to showcase our products and innovations on a global scale,” he added.
