Invertek Drives will highlight some of its latest variable frequency drives (VFD) innovation and technology at the 2018 AHR Expo in Chicago this month (January 2018).

Invertek’s Optidrive E3 and Optidrive Eco will be demonstrated at its stand (#7933) during the show, along with the latest Optistick Smart and the OptiTool Mobile commissioning and programming smartphone app.

As one of the global leaders in VFD design and manufacture, Invertek’s presence will attract interest from a wide range of the 65,000 plus attendees expected at the main US HVACR expo event being held between 22-24 January 2018.

“AHR Expo is an important event for us as we expand our presence in the US, building on and supporting our existing customer base,” said Rhydian Welson, Sales and Marketing Director at Invertek.

“Our Optidrive E3 and Optidrive Eco VFDs are of particular interest to the HVACR sector for their use within the energy efficient maintenance of environments within buildings.

“The Optidrive Eco has been specifically designed to deliver improved performance, control and energy savings in fan and pump applications within building services.”

He added: “Our team, including our newly appointed Vice President of Invertek Drives USA, Wayne Morris, will be on hand to discuss our latest drive technology with expo visitors, as well as meeting existing customers.”

The Optidrive E3 range includes the new outdoor rated IP66 drives designed for direct machine mounting. Designed specifically for outdoor applications, including fans, pumps and HVAC, the drives are built with tough polycarbonate plastics specifically chosen to withstand degradation by ultraviolet (UV) light, greases, oils and acids.

Available in four frame sizes in power outputs up to 22kW these new outdoor rated drives are designed to provide energy savings and precise motor control for IE2, 3 and 4 types of induction, permanent magnet, brushless DC and synchronous reluctance motors.

Also on show will be the latest OptiStick Smart that uses Bluetooth along with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology to communicate between the Optidrive and the new smartphone app, as well as a PC running our OptiTools Studio PC software.
