Invertek Drives’ most ambitious SPS stand to date proved an ideal platform to showcase the company’s latest variable frequency drives, Optidrive E3 and Optidrive Eco, to over 56,000 visitors during last week’s show in Nuremburg.
The stand was dominated by two rotating drums which stood six metres tall, ensuring the Invertek brand was visible throughout the entire hall. The drums were used to display product - opening up floor space and allowing visitors to clearly see the features of each range.
Invertek benefitted from a central location in the popular Hall 4 this year - a factor which significantly contributed to the successful show as Sales and Marketing Director, Rhydian Welson, explains, “SPS plays a vital role in our global marketing activities as it attracts visitors from the automation industry from around the World, providing an ideal opportunity for us to showcase our latest products and innovations on a global scale.
“However, it’s such a huge exhibition that exhibitors have to work really hard to make sure they stand out. This year our location and stand design worked hand in hand to deliver a really successful show which we’ll be building on for future SPS events.”
The main highlight of this year’s SPS was the launch of Optidrive E3, the third generation range of Optidrive general purpose drives, and the expanded Optidrive Eco range which provides seamless motor control for HVAC and Pump applications.
Invertek’s popular high performance variable speed drive, Optidrive P2, also took centre stage at SPS 2014. Optidrive P2 offers World leading control for IE2, IE3 and IE4 permanent magnet and standard induction motors – ensuring precise control for even the most demanding applications.
The SPS stand was jointly hosted with Invertek Drives GmBH, established earlier this year under the leadership of German drives industry specialist Marcel Schmidli.
Rhydian continues, “We approached SPS a bit differently this year to previous shows by using German text on our stand graphics, followed by English as the secondary language.
“Invertek’s products are sold into more than 80 countries worldwide backed by an ethos of ‘thinking globally, acting locally’ – this attitude ensures our customers benefit from the best service possible from all aspects of our operation wherever they’re located, and this also applies to our sales and marketing activities.”
Invertek Drives will also be exhibiting at Hannover Messe in April – visit Stand K09 Hall 14/15 to view all of the latest innovations from Invertek. More photos from SPS 2014 can be viewed on our facebook page and a short film has been added to our YouTube channel.
