Invertek's Alison Birch has been named Foundation Apprentice of the Year by the Skills Academy Wales.

Alison, a Warehouse Administrator at Invertek Drives HQ in Welshpool, UK, received the award at a ceremony at Neath College in South Wales.

The Skills Academy Wales Work-based Learning Awards recognise the achievements of apprentices throughout Wales.

Warehouse Manager Mark Hudson praised Alison for her hard work and determination, which earned her nomination for and victory in the award.
