Invertek Drives' significant growth discussed on BBC Radio Wales' Wales@Work programme
Invertek's Sales and Marketing Director, Rhydian Welson, was interviewed by BBC Radio Wales as the featured business of the week in its Wales@Work programme which was first broadcast on 21st February.
Rhydian discussed the reasons behind Invertek Drives's phenomenal success since it first started in 1998 with show reporter, Kath Chadwick. He talked about the vital role innovation and technology has played in the company's growth to date, and how the company plans to continue increasing its expansion.
Rhydian said, "Flexibility is key to our manufacturing philosophy, our aim has always been to produce invertors that are highly powerful, but easy to use. Invertek has 30,000 variants of the products that we can build, which is one of the secrets of our success – at any time we can build a one-off of any one of these different variants". "Invertek has grown by 25% year on year and we're forecasting turnover to double in the next five years." |
