Invertek Drives is delighted to announce that Dylan Davies has been appointed Product Manager for the Optidrive Eco range of variable frequency drives.
This latest appointment has been made as a direct result of Invertek Drives’ continued global growth. The ambitious company currently has a compound annual growth rate of 25% with the popular Eco range for Pump Control and HVAC Building Services being a key driver.
Dylan has more than 19 years’ experience in the drives industry having worked for companies in the UK and Dubai following his graduation from Bangor University where he achieved a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Physics and Electronics.
His extensive experience covers both sides of the fence having spent several years working for manufacturers of drives, as well as many years working in industry, designing, installing and testing drive systems for applications varying from oil and gas, to HVAC applications.
This specific experience makes him ideal for the role of Eco Product Manager as Technical Manager, Kes Beech, explains, “We have witnessed a significant increase in demand for our Eco VFDs and this interest is set to grow even more following recent developments which have expanded the range.
“Dylan’s appointment is designed to support the ongoing development of this exciting product and we’re all very pleased to welcome him to the Invertek team here in Welshpool.”
Optidrive Eco is specifically designed to provide energy efficient, precise motor control for HVAC and pumping applications. The Eco drive is suitable for use with a wide range of IE2, IE3 and IE4 motors including AC Induction (IM) Motors, AC Permanent Magnet (PM) Motors, Brushless DC (BLDC) Motors & Synchronous Reluctance (SynRM) Motors.
