Invertek Drives is delighted to announce that Adrian Ellam has been appointed to the position of Finance Director.
Adrian joined Invertek in May 2010 as Finance and IT Systems Controller, and has since played a key role in managing the complex financial issues involved in financing and managing the company's extraordinary growth which has seen global sales orders double over the past four years.
He has also been responsible for the specification, development and maintenance of the company's IT network and services – a vital role in a company trading in over 80 countries worldwide.
Adrian says, “Invertek is a dynamic company with ambitious expansion plans. I am very proud to have been offered an opportunity to be even more closely involved in the future direction of the business and am looking forward to the challenges presented by the rapid rate of expansion that we’ve experienced in recent years.”
Adrian will work closely with the Board of Directors to review all aspects of financial performance and will play a key role in the implementation of new enterprise software.

Adrian has begun his new role with some very exciting news – he recently found out that he has been named a finalist in the Best Finance Director of an International Business category in the prestigious Finance Director Awards 2014.
Adrian has over 20 years of financial experience in commercial, wholesale, manufacturing and consultancy sectors having started his accountancy career in the 90s at Truprint, one of the UK’s largest mail order film developing businesses.
First established in 1998, Invertek Drives manufactures and markets a range of electronic variable speed drives used to control the speed of electric motors in a wide variety of industrial automation and energy saving applications.
