Invertek Drives sales partner in the Netherlands has taken delivery of the two-millionth Optidrive variable frequency drive ever produced.

Hiflex Automatiseringstechniek BV received the one-off ‘golden’ drive following its production in April.

The Optidrive E3 will be displayed at the company’s headquarters in Ridderkerk, near Rotterdam. Invertek has a global network of sales partners in more than 80 countries.

Invertek Drives recorded record sales in 2020 and so far in 2021, with double-figure growth in that time. The company is undertaking a significant recruitment drive as it ramps up production to cater for global demand.

It is continuing to invest in its R&D and Innovation teams as well as in production at its global headquarters, manufacturing and distribution facility at Welshpool, Powys, UK.
