Staff at Invertek Drives global headquarters and manufacturing facility have raised £385 for charity Macmillan Cancer Support.
A raffle was held in February with a range of prizes provided by local businesses.
These included restaurant vouchers from Henry Tudor House and The Lion and Pheasant in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, The Talbot, Berriew, and the Lakeside Golf Course, near Welshpool, Powys.
“We’d like to thank the businesses providing prizes for their support as well as our colleagues for buying tickets. It has raised more money for a charity making a difference to the lives of so many," said Bryony Wilson of Invertek’s Customer Support Team who arranged the raffle.
Macmillan is a registered charity providing a range of support to people diagnosed with and suffering from cancer in the UK. It employs health and social care professionals to provide free emotional, physical and financial support to cancer patients.
