Customers of Invertek Drives Italia (SP Electric) have been visiting the global production and distribution facilities of Invertek Drives in the UK.

Representatives from throughout Italy visited the headquarters at Welshpool, UK, to see the investment that has been made in the innovation and production facilities over the past year.

Invertek manufactures its entire Optidrive range of variable frequency drives at the facility which also houses a state-of-the-art innovation and test facility, along with the headquarters of the business.

In January 2019 a new 5,500sq metre production and distribution facility was opened. It will allow the company to increase production to more than 400,000 drives a year.

The company's innovation facilities have also undergone significant investment, including a new and dedicated motor test centre.
