Invertek Drives USA is continuing its expansion with the appointment of a key sales manager for the Western United States.

Doug Falt has been appointed Western Region Sales Manager for the variable frequency drive (VFD) innovator and manufacturer. It comes after the company expanded with a new US HQ and distribution centre near Chicago, IL last year.

The company announced in November that it had also established a nationwide Sales Reps and service network covering all 50 states.

Doug has more than 35 years’ of experience working in the VFD, motion control and automation, with several years covering the Western states for several major drives manufacturers.

He said: “Invertek Drives has rapidly become a key player in the drives sector in the US with a  reputation for the quality and durability of its Optidrive products, including its NEMA 4X / IP66 range. The ‘purple’ brand can be found operating in a wide range of industrial and commercial environments, from manufacturing to HVAC-R and pumping to refrigeration.

“I’ve been impressed with the levels of performance of the Optidrive range and I’m looking forward to increasing Invertek’s market share in the Western states, building on its remarkable growth in recent years. It’s one of the main reasons I’ve joined Invertek at such an exciting time.”

The headquarters and distribution centre of Invertek Drives USA moved into new premises in Libertyville, Lake County, IL in November 2022. The 19,060sq ft facility acts as the main distribution point in North America. The company established its original offices in Libertyville in 2018.

The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Invertek Drives Ltd which has its global HQ and manufacturing facility in the UK.

Rapidly growing drives market
